Your Pride In London 

Pride in London means many things to many people, it belongs to our community and it belongs to you; come and join the conversation!

Pride in London has a renewed sense of purpose to highlight the challenges still facing the LGBT+ community today despite progress. We are run by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity and are drawn from all walks of life. Pride aims to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow all of our community to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing. 

Around 250 people volunteer year-round to help us deliver what has become a world-class Pride. It is our intention for Pride in London to best represent all parts of our community and we continue to actively encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, particularly women, People of Colour and those from the trans and non-binary communities. The Role 

We’re looking for an energetic Brand Activation Manager to join the Pride in London Marketing team.  You’ll need to be a brand ambassador for Pride in London, embodying our values of VISIBILITYUNITY and EQUALITY and help our Partners to do the same.


  • Sharing updates regarding our theme and campaigns with our Partners (aka Sponsors)
  • Working with Partners on their integration into the above the line campaign (i.e. where their logo appears on the creative, as it will this year)
  • Being a 'sounding board' for Partners looking to activate the theme in their own way
  • Acting as brand sign off on Partner activations
  • Being the go-to for ad hoc requests from Partners for requests relating to marketing

Skills you’ll bring

  • The ideal candidate would have mid-level management experience to build strong and mutually effective partnerships. 
  • You’ll need to be confident dealing with a wide variety of partners
  • You’ll be comfortable challenging and encouraging our partners to build mutually beneficial relationships.
  • You’ll enjoy being responsible for correspondence and relationship management
  • You’ll have an understanding of brand promotion and coordination
  • You’ll bring your creative flair to help guide branding projects
  • You have the negotiation skills to encourage and challenge partners/sponsors
  • Account/Client management experience would be greatly appreciated 

Time you'll need to have

We ask for around 4-6 hours per week on Pride work. You can work at whatever time suits you.   This will include a mixture of meetings, workshops and emails/messages throughout the week. Depending on the projects we have on the go, some weeks will be busier than others, but we'll give plenty of notice of what's coming up.

Our Culture

Our volunteers are driven and passionate about what they do. Putting on one of London's largest one-day events requires dedication and perseverance. 

Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.
