Pride in London means many things to many people, it belongs to our community and it belongs to you; come and join the conversation!

Pride in London has a renewed sense of purpose to highlight the challenges still facing the LGBT+ community today despite progress. We are run by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity and are drawn from all walks of life. Pride aims to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow all of our community to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing. 

Around 250 people volunteer year-round to help us deliver what has become a world-class Pride. It is our intention for Pride in London to best represent all parts of our community and we continue to actively encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, particularly women, People of Colour and those from the trans and non-binary communities. The role 

This is a newly created role in a new team within the organisation. The Digital
Partnerships team of three (x2 Digital Partnership Managers and the Head of Digital
Partnerships) has been created to maximise the reach, credibility and equity of Pride in
London’s owned digital platforms.
This new team are responsible for identifying, closing and delivering new partnerships for Pride in London and sit within the Strategic Partnerships team, as such this team is also expected to be a key revenue-driving task force.

About You

The successful candidate will combine proven media and communications expertise, and a creative flair with strong sales and client handling skills. You will be responsible for identifying and encouraging brands to platform as part of our newly created Digital Partnerships division within the Strategic Partnerships team to communicate effectively across a diverse media landscape to reach and influence audiences. Ideally, you should be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to sell integrated campaigns covering multiple platforms and media.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in digital campaign building, data-led solutions and authentic consumer brand engagement and will be as confident pitching over the phone spotting new business opportunities on a daily basis,  You will be responsible for working with the wider team to engage and excite and ensure that the team is fully briefed and aware of your pipeline and plans for ‘sold’ campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
● Responsible for managing, growing and maintaining a portfolio of accounts
● Securing new business wins and encouraging repeat business
● Drive client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction
● Generate innovative ideas to support clients and boost brand awareness
● Overseeing a sales team - leading, supervising and supporting juniors
● Able to deliver KPI's and ensure KPI’s of the team are met
● Dealing with all aspects of a campaign
● Delivering sales presentations to high-level clients
● Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets
● Report on sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements

Essential skills you'll need to have
● Ability to work independently and build strong client relationship skills
● Creativity and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team 
● Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills alongside
accuracy and attention to detail
● Take responsibility and ownership for your own work
● Sales-focused, results-driven and self-motivated 
● A professional, proactive and positive attitude to selling
● Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating on Zoom, over the phone and

The role will require a long-term committment of around 4-6hrs per week.
