If you're the sort of person who loves checking off a to do list or unblocking a dependency, then we could really use your help!

The Digital team look after the Pride website, app and most other online channels. We work like a consultancy, resourcing team members from different disciplines to support other Pride teams with their goals and objectives. We've grown rapidly in the last few years as we've earned the trust of other Pride teams to deliver more complex projects for them. This year we restructured the team to add Project Management as a discipline as we recognised that we really needed that skillset to keep on top of tracking our decisions and deadlines.

We're looking someone who is used to working in a digital environment that can help define how we plan and run projects, as well as experiment with how best to resource the team of volunteers.

In this role you'll be:

  • Creating clear and pragmatic plans for delivering digital projects
  • Ensuring that team members have clearly defined tasks and that they stick to agreed deadlines and processes
  • Documenting decisions and reporting on project process to stakeholders
  • Identifying risks in projects and replanning if they go off course
  • Evolving our methodology, making sure to document guidelines for the team when it changes
  • Mentoring and coaching your team of Project Managers and providing oversight when necessary

What you get out of it:

  • The chance to define the way a volunteer organisation runs digital projects
  • To experiment with new digital tools to make projects more efficient
  • To lead a team of Project Managers regularly delivering initiatives for other teams
  • The ability to work with a diverse product team and learn new skills

Time commitment

Each week you'll usually spend between 4-8 hours on Pride work. This includes a mixture of catchups, meetings and actual work. Depending on the projects we have on the go some weeks will be busier than others, but we know everyone has full time jobs and social lives so try to give plenty of notice of what's coming up.

We don't count it as Pride time, but the Digital team are a pretty social team and get together when we can for fun too.

Or, know someone who would be a perfect fit? Let them know!

Our Culture

Our volunteers are driven and passionate about what they do. Putting on one of London's largest one-day events requires dedication and perseverance.

Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the organisation so we can provide a platform for every part of London’s LGBT+ community.
