Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!
Your Role
We are seeking an immensely skilled and experienced individual to assume the vital role of Head of Artist Bookings & Relations within our team. This role is integral to the success of our events. As the Head of Artist Bookings & Relations, you will be entrusted with the exhilarating task of identifying, negotiating, and confirming top-tier artists across a diverse spectrum of music genres to take centre stage at our events. Our objective is to curate an extraordinary and diverse lineup that deeply connects with our multifaceted audience, delivering an unparalleled experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the identification and selection of exceptional talent across diverse music genres for our stage performances.
- Lead negotiations to secure the participation of top artists, working to ensure favourable terms for both parties.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align artist performances with the overarching event vision and themes.
- Strategically curate an artist lineup that reflects the diversity and richness of the LGBTQ+ community in London.
- Manage artist relations, ensuring clear communication and facilitating their needs throughout the event.
- Oversee all aspects of artist logistics, from travel arrangements to on-site requirements including tech-spec.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the event's reputation as a premier platform for top-tier music talent.
- Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate artist performances and audience feedback to assess the lineup's success and make recommendations for future events.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Extensive experience in artist management or talent acquisition within the music industry.
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing high-profile music artists.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
- Exceptional understanding of various music genres and their appeal to diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for artist relations and collaboration with internal teams.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for crafting unique and diverse artist lineups.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Passion for LGBTQ+ rights and advocacy.
Role Details
This is a volunteer role (4-6 hrs per week)

About Pride in London
Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
