To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Grandstand Coordinator to join our team. The Grandstand Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the logistics and operations of the grandstand area during the Pride in London Parade. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for grandstand attendees.
Your Responsibilities
Logistics Planning: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to plan and execute the grandstand setup, ensuring a safe and enjoyable viewing experience for attendees.
Ticketing and Reservations: Manage the ticketing process, including sales, reservations, and on-site coordination for grandstand seating.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for grandstand-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to attendees, sponsors, and partners.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with grandstand operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with other Pride in London teams, including logistics, security, and communications, to coordinate overall parade operations.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the event, providing quick and effective solutions.
What you’ll bring to the role
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with LGBTQ+ issues and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

About Pride in London
Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
