With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!
Your Role
Our People Team is seeking a Volunteer Recruitment Partner to help source and screen candidates for various volunteer roles across the organisation. In this role, you'll create inclusive role descriptions, manage the recruitment process using tools like Teamtailor, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Your Responsibilities
Sourcing Candidates: Proactively identify potential volunteers through various channels, including job boards, social media, and community outreach.
Screening and Interviewing: Evaluate candidates' applications and conduct interviews to assess their suitability for volunteer roles.
Creating Role Descriptions: Write inclusive and engaging volunteer role descriptions that accurately reflect the responsibilities and expectations of the positions.
Managing the Recruitment Process: Use tools like Teamtailor to track candidate progress, maintain records, and ensure timely follow-up with applicants.
Building a Volunteer Network: Establish and maintain relationships with community groups and networks to create a strong pipeline of potential volunteers.
Collaborating with Team Leads: Work alongside various team leaders to understand their specific recruitment needs and tailor strategies accordingly.

About Pride in London
Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
