Your role
The Broadcast Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful live coverage of the Pride in London 2025 parade and surrounding events. This position requires close collaboration with the Outside Broadcast Manager and various stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of the broadcast, from planning to execution and post-event reporting.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Outside Broadcast Manager to plan comprehensive live coverage of the Pride in London 2025 parade and related activities.
Coordinate the deployment of VIK equipment assets and on-site staff from Pride in London and external partners.
Liaise with internal Pride in London teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the live broadcast coverage and its opportunities.
Optimise information flow between Pride in London and external partners, including maintaining planning documentation and schedules.
Organise and chair Broadcast Working Group meetings.
Ensure delivery of all contractual rights for Broadcast Working Group partners.
Coordinate complex broadcast transmission infrastructure, including site surveys and pre-event testing.
Conduct post-event reporting and facilitate feedback collection from all stakeholders.
What you’ll bring to the role
Strong project management skills with experience in live event broadcasting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
Technical knowledge of broadcast equipment and transmission infrastructure.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to Pride in London's mission.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle unexpected challenges during live events.
Experience in coordinating large-scale public events is highly desirable.
Enthusiasm for creating engaging and impactful live content that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
