Pride in London is embracing a renewed sense of purpose that resonates with everyone. We stand as a beacon to highlight ongoing challenges within the LGBTQ+ community, even amidst progress. Our roots intertwine the protest origins of Pride with the spirit of celebration.. Our guiding values – Visibility, Unity, and Equality – drive every step we take.
Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. We hail from diverse walks of life, forming a vibrant community of change-makers. Our ultimate goal? To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Head of Photography to lead our visual
storytelling. You’ll manage photographers and videographers, ensuring all content
represents Pride in London consistently across all channels.
Your Responsibilities
Photography & Videography Management
• Develop creative briefs and assign photographers/videographers for various
business needs, including:
◦ Marketing materials
◦ Event photography
◦ Testimonials and interviews
◦ On-the-day event coverage
• Ensure consistency in style, quality, and messaging across all visual content.
Team & Resource Management
• Manage the existing roster of photographers and videographers.
• Recruit and onboard new photographers and videographers as needed.
Asset Library & Usage Rights
• Maintain and oversee the asset library, ensuring it is well-organised and accessible.
• Be the gatekeeper for all content usage rights, ensuring compliance with licensing
agreements.
• Archive materials effectively for future use and historical preservation.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with the marketing, communications, and events teams to meet
content needs.
• Ensure that all photography and videography align with Pride in London's mission
and brand guidelines.
What you'll bring to Pride in London
• Proven experience in photography management, ideally within marketing, events or
media.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team.
• Understanding of licensing, copyrights, and media usage rights.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the fast-paced environment of live
events.
• Passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and representation.

Our volunteers are driven and passionate about what they do. Putting on one of London's largest one-day events requires dedication and perseverance.
Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

About Pride in London
Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
