To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role

The Leadership Team Lead for Grants & Applications will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing funding opportunities that support Pride in London’s mission and operations. This role focuses on securing grants, donations, and sponsorships from public bodies, trusts, and foundations, ensuring that funding applications align with our strategic priorities and values.
This position is ideal for a passionate individual who wants to use their grant-writing and
fundraising expertise to make a tangible impact within the LGBTQ+ community.
Time Commitment
Approx. 6–8 hours per week, depending on funding deadlines.
Weekly leadership team meetings, Monthly All Team Meetings and regular check-ins with the Chief Executive.
Your Responsibilities
- Research and identify suitable grant and funding opportunities from public, private,
and charitable sources. - Lead the preparation and submission of compelling grant applications and funding
proposals. - Work collaboratively with internal teams to gather information, budgets, and impact data for applications.
- Maintain a grant tracker to monitor application progress, deadlines, and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all funding and reporting requirements.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Partnerships & Growth and the Senior
Leadership Team on funding performance. - Contribute to building long-term sustainability by identifying new funding streams that align with organisational priorities.
- Support internal teams to strengthen their understanding of grant processes and
income generation opportunities.
What you'll bring to Pride in London
Essential
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce persuasive and well structured funding applications.
- Experience researching, preparing, or submitting grant or funding proposals.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with confidence working across multiple teams.
- Commitment to Pride in London’s values of visibility, unity, and equality.
Desirable
- Experience working in a non-profit, charity, or community-based organisation.
- Knowledge of the UK charitable funding landscape.
- Familiarity with reporting requirements for grant-funded projects.
- Experience in relationship management or stakeholder engagement.

Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
