To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role
The Quiet Parade Manager will be part of the team responsible for organizing and overseeing the Quiet Space at Pride in London, ensuring it is a welcoming, safe, and calming environment for individuals with neurodiverse conditions, sensory challenges, and mental health needs. This role involves working closely with accessibility teams, mental health advocates, and volunteers to create a radically inclusive space.
This role has a flexible start time however we would be looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Availability to volunteer on the day of the event (Saturday 4th July) is essential.
There are in person meetings in Central London on Saturday afternoons approximately every 4-6 weeks that would be desirable to attend.
Your Responsibilities
Support in the design and coordination of London Quiet Pride that caters to neurodiverse individuals, people with sensory sensitivities, and those needing mental health support.
Support in developing guidelines and best practices to ensure the space is managed effectively and meets diverse needs. Collaborate with mental health professionals and disability advocates to enhance the effectiveness of the space.
Work with the Access Team to ensure the Quiet Pride is accessible, appropriately located, and adequately resourced. Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to staff the Quiet Pride;
Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to evaluate the implementation of Quiet Parade as a pilot project.
What you'll bring to Pride in London
Inclusive Leadership: Experience working with diverse communities, including neurodivergent individuals, disabled people, LGBTQ+ communities, and individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to collaborate with community groups, advocacy organizations, and individuals with lived experience to co-design accessible solutions.
Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges in inclusion efforts and develop innovative strategies to address them. Understanding of sensory processing differences and strategies for sensory-friendly environments. Experience in mental health, disability advocacy, or neurodiversity inclusion. Understanding of trauma-sensitive approaches and mental health accommodations.
Strong organizational and team management skills: Ability to plan, execute, and evaluate pilot initiatives, ensuring deliverables meet accessibility and inclusivity goals. Ability to navigate uncertainties, adapt pilot project strategies based on feedback, and iterate based on what works.
Commitment to Inclusivity: A deep understanding and respect for LGBTQIA+ rights, with a commitment to ensuring a positive and inclusive event experience.

Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
