With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role
Pride in London is seeking experienced Event Operations Managers to join our team. As an Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for operational on the day delivery of an allocated area within the Pride In London 2024 footprint.
Your Team
We have a number of volunteer roles to fill within the Event Operations team, which will be matched depending on experience and availability. Hours vary and we are looking for individuals who are available on the day and the weeks leading up to the event, as well as year round opportunities. The majority of meetings are held on evenings and weekends.
Your Responsibilities
Manage a team of volunteer stewards and supervisors
Respond to incidents and emergencies of various natures
Work with third parties such as the licencing team, production company and security stewards
Crowd management through wayfinding
Document event outcomes, capture insights, and identify improvements
Assist the Residents and Business Liaison team with stakeholder management / engagement, and licencing activities with Westminster City Council
What you'll bring to Pride in London
Experience in event operations
Knowledge of the Pride in London Footprint / soho area
Strong people management experience
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Great initiative and problem solving skills
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

About Pride in London
Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
