Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. We hail from diverse walks of life, forming a vibrant community of change-makers. Our ultimate goal? To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role
If you haven’t worked in production or event management before and want to get some experience then this is the role for you.
- Working with the Production Manager you will collate and collect all artist information prior to Pride in London. This includes lyrics, music and production requirements.
- On the day you will be the linchpin between the Talent, Stage Management and wider Pride Team, ensuring that all production elements are in place for each artist prior to their arrival.
- Working with the Talent Team you will ensure the artist has an effortless time.
- The role requires interaction with performers, suppliers, community group and other affiliates of Pride in London so good communication skills are key.
- The Stages Team is responsible for delivering an authoritative, inclusive diverse production across currently 5 sites on the day of Pride in London, Leicester Square, Soho Square, Dean Street, Golden Square, Trafalgar Square including when required additional talent support to Family Area.
Your Team
You will be part of a small team of Production Assistants and managed by a Production Lead. Your team will make up part of the Stages Team who oversee production for all Pride in London stages.
Your Responsibilities
- Collection, monitoring and recording of all stage content from artists. This includes tracks, lyrics, production requirements and any other relevant information. This is mainly email based and requires requesting and then recording all data as it is sent in.
- Chasing any outstanding content.
- Regular, scheduled meetings with team.
- Role model for Pride in London’s values and behaviours.
- Support by providing necessary tools/knowledge/experience to enable delivery of plans.
Community
- Ensure that production is in the interests of the LGBT+ community and meet with diversity and inclusion.
- Maintain high levels awareness surrounding current threats and challenges toward the LGBT+ Community - advises directors of risks and potential mitigation.
What you'll bring to Pride in London
- Experience in the field isn’t necessary but to do the role you should be proactive, amenable and organised, with a 'can do attitude' and have a keen interest in being part of the Pride in London Stages Team.
- The role can be email and admin heavy especially in the few weeks leading up to Pride in London so a good understand of Microsoft production or similar is required.
- The ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organisation as well as cross functionally is key.
- Lead by example, a role model to direct reports and broader team, upholding Pride in London’s values.
- The role typically can take around 3-10 hours a week with more required in the weeks before Pride in London. You should also be free to work on the day of Pride in London.

About Pride in London
Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
