With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your role
The Content Editor - Pride Guide is a rewarding volunteer role focused on creating Pride in London's content contributions for the Annual Pride Guide, produced in collaboration with Pride Life Global. You'll help develop engaging content that represents our community across categories like Travel, Arts, Social, Fashion, and current LGBTQ+ affairs.
As Content Editor, you'll work with fellow volunteers and coordinate with Pride Life Global to create compelling content that celebrates our community while meeting publication deadlines.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Development: Create Pride in London's content contributions for the Annual Pride Guide across Travel, Arts, Social, Fashion, and LGBTQ+ topics
Team Collaboration: Work with volunteer teams to gather content ideas and community stories
Content Writing: Research and write engaging articles that represent Pride in London's community and values
Deadline Support: Help ensure content submissions meet Pride Life Global's publication timeline
Community Stories: Source and develop content showcasing diverse voices within our Pride community
Quality Focus: Ensure submissions reflect Pride in London's values before submission to Pride Life Global
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Writing Skills: Experience in content writing or keen interest in developing writing abilities
LGBTQ+ Community Connection: Understanding of LGBTQ+ culture and current affairs with passion for community representation
Team Player: Comfortable working with other volunteers and coordinating with external partners
Organised Approach: Able to manage content projects and meet deadlines
Cultural Interests: Interest in Travel, Arts, Social, and Fashion topics within the LGBTQ+ community
Good Communication: Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Role Details
This is a volunteer role -The role requires commitment during key production periods leading up to the Annual Pride Guide publication.

Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
