Your Role
As a Media Planner/Buyer, you will report to the Head of Media and play a pivotal role in amplifying the reach of our message. You will support the development of strategic media partnerships, securing space across Out-of-Home (OOH), digital, print, and broadcast channels to ensure Pride in London is visible across the capital and beyond. This role is perfect for a media professional looking to use their negotiation and planning skills for social good.
This role carries an average volunteer commitment of approximately 6–8 hours per week, with peak activity during the media booking and campaign launch phases.

Your Role
Support the Head of Media in creating and developing media partnerships with major platforms and networks.
Assist in the planning and execution of the multi-channel media strategy.
Liaise with media owners to secure pro-bono or high-value placements.
Manage the delivery of technical specifications to the creative team for various media formats.
Monitor and report on the performance and reach of media placements.
Maintain accurate records of all media partnerships and inventory.
What you'll bring to Pride in London
Media Industry Knowledge: Experience in media planning or buying (agency or brand side).
Partnership Building: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with media owners.
Strategic Thinking: Understanding of how to reach diverse audiences through effective channel selection.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to advocate for the best possible placements for the organisation.
Attention to Detail: High standards of accuracy in managing media schedules and specs.

Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
