Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.
With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role
We are looking for a Copywriter and Art Director Team (applications from established pairs or individuals are welcome) to be the creative engine behind our 2026 campaign. You will develop the "big ideas" that resonate with the LGBTQ+ community and the wider public. From punchy headlines to striking visual concepts, your work will define the look and feel of Pride in London across social media, outdoor advertising, and event signage.
This role carries an average volunteer commitment of approximately 6–8 hours per week, with a flexible start time.

Your Responsibilities
Collaborate to develop original creative concepts for the annual Pride in London campaign.
Copywriter: Craft compelling, inclusive, and impactful copy for all platforms (web, social, OOH, scripts).
Art Director: Define the visual language, typography, and imagery for the campaign.
Ensure all creative work aligns with the year’s theme and Pride in London’s core values.
Present concepts to marketing leadership and iterate based on feedback.
Oversee the creative integrity of the campaign from ideation through to production.

Storytelling: The ability to communicate complex community issues through simple, powerful creative.
Brand Awareness: Ability to work within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: A deep understanding of LGBTQIA+ nuances and a passion for inclusive representation.

Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

Pride in London is run in majority by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.
Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
